While Health by Design was established in 2016 by Dawn Grittmann, PharmD, in 2021 she decided to switch her focus to suicide prevention as Dr. Dawn, The Suicide Prevention Pharmacist. Dawn is a licensed pharmacist with over 17 years of hospital, quality, and managed care experience. Dawn also has a family history of suicide, making her work on suicide prevention both personal and professional.
Dawn began Health by Design as a response to a growing focus on wellness and disease prevention. Now, as a suicide prevention pharmacist, she is switching her focus to slowing a national and worldwide issue.
